There are many who are feeling fresh hope for our nation, our culture and our future. They, too are your neighbors.

I always try to be kind to my neighbors. But today two Hispanic children were bullied at my daughter’s school and threatened and were told that the new president would get rid of them. I’m not feeling hopeful. Please respect that.

I know you see the irony. Hispanics voted heavily for Trump and against open borders.

And that justifies the overt racism that the entire Trump campaign was built upon? My daughter is from Honduras and came across that boarder. Would you deport her? When did Jesus say to send the poor children back where they came from?

Did she come here legally? If so, she is most welcome. If not, she broke the law. Jesus taught compassion for the poor and to obey the authorities God has placed over us, when they don't conflict with His law.

I trust you will take time to think deeply on your accusations of racism; they are unfounded.

She was brought here as a child. Not her choice. If you think that Jesus would reject her, then your Jesus is not my Jesus. Enough with the gaslighting. No one with eyes and ears and the ability to think could doubt the blatant racism of the campaign. I have thought deeply, so stop being patronizing. Goodbye.

Open borders…pffft! I would have thought that given the election result, the Mexicans and Canadians would be building their own walls, to keep the Americans out.
