Love the pecan haiku. I'm feeling that 'one year has passed' kind of feeling as I see and experience things around Basel at the start of fall. Now that it's my third time experiencing these things here, I start to forget - which year was it when this particular thing happened and comparing this seasonal change to others.

Yes, the longer you live in a place, the more you start to recognize the seasonal changes. Here on the Gulf Coast, it’s still hot, but the air feels different, and while there aren’t the dramatic colors that you see farther north, the foliage is subtly shifting.
And I’m so happy to have discovered both of your stacks! I look forward to delving more into the archives and to what is forthcoming.
